Hampshire UNISON has nominated Paul Holmes for General Secretary ahead of the upcoming election because:
• Paul will significantly increase funding to branches, meaning we can organise effectively, fight for every job, and always be there for our members
• Paul has a track-record of fighting for members and winning disputes
• Paul will take the job on his current wage of £32,000, declining the £100,000 available
• Paul believes the measure of our success should be the terms and conditions of our members, not simply our size
• Paul is an enthusiastic supporter of the work done by Retired Members Sections
