Fair Pay in Higher Education

Vote “yes” for fair pay

UNISON members in Higher Education are being balloted on whether to take strike action in their fight for fair pay.

We are asking UNISON members in HE vote YES in the ballot because despite 3 years of pay freezes inflation is still at record levels and the cost of living is still rising. On top of all of this the employers pay offer of 1% for next year represents a cut in wages when compared in real terms.

Ballot opens 12th September and closes 2nd October.

UNISON members in Higher Education will recieve ballot papers to your home address. If you have not recieved yours by Thursday 20th September then please contact the branch.

If you have any questions about the ballot or about taking industrial action please contact your local UNISON Rep or the Hampshire Branch asap.
