Britain Needs a Pay Rise – FREE coach from Winchester

Britain Needs a Pay RiseJoin us on the TUC march and rally in London on Saturday 18 October 2014, to help call for an economic recovery that works for all Britons, not just those right at the top. Britain needs a pay rise!

This national demonstration falls at the end of a week which will see NHS staff and civil servants take industrial action over pay, and can help ratchet up the level of resistance to this government’s brutal austerity programme.

Hampshire UNISON have organised a coach to the demonstration which will depart Winchester at 8am. Spaces are free to UNISON members and their families and can be booked online or by contacting Steve Squibbs. If you are booking your space online please ensure you have indicated the correct number of seats you require.

We aim to make it clear to employers and the government that enough is enough and we cannot keep having our pay frozen while prices continue to rise. Let’s make 18 October a day to remember, a day when UNISON sends a loud message about fair pay. You’re worth it.

Details

Coach departs from King Alfred’s Statue at 8 am. (Situated between Eastgate Street, The Broadway and Bridge Street, Winchester). We will aim to return to Winchester by 7pm.
